A few weeks ago Erin and I hosted our 3rd ever wedding photography workshop (aka. TalkShop) here in Orange County. We had such a fantastic group of photographers, all at different places in their business, but they all had the same goal. They wanted to kick things into high gear and approach their weddings and clients with a new perspective! We all talked and talked and TALKED throughout the day about anything and everything related to what we love. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and we came away so blessed to know all of these individuals and can’t wait to see where they take their businesses. We left inspired by all of our new friends – we’ll definitely be doing this again!
Towards the end of our day at every TalkShop we make it a point to go out and practice! Well this time we wanted to step things up for our attendees and partnered with Gloria McCune of Grand Engagements (an insanely talented wedding coordinator) who styled an INSANE shoot for everyone. Bringing together some of the best vendors around, our shoot took place at a gorgeous brand new venue here in Orange County – Rancho Los Cerritos. We were planning on shooting for only a couple hours but ended up staying there for a little over 3 hours; there was so much that we all couldn’t pass up as the light only got better and better!
Our models, Spencer and Ryan, were AH-mazing and really brought everyone’s vision to life. Our theme was based off of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” and thanks to all of our awesome vendors, it was fantastic.
In fact, the shoot was featured this week on Grey Likes Weddings blog. A tribute to not only this incredible location, but also to everyone who made this day possible. Go check it out! Thank you all! There is a complete list of all who made this day incredible at the end of this post.
Also, as our attendees start blogging their images and talking about their experiences, we’ll be adding links to their sites here as well!
