Island Hotel Wedding | Marie and Doug

Marie and Doug’s Island Hotel wedding was a day that we had been looking forward to all summer long! From the moment we met Marie, we loved how much she just couldn’t wait to be married to Doug! Being a wedding planner herself, she knew the type of day she wanted and that above all of the “details” it was truly all about her and Doug’s commitment to one another and the celebration of their love! Following their first look, since it was going to be one of the only times during their day that they were going to be alone together, Marie and Doug decided that they wanted to read each other their own written vows before becoming husband and wife. They did vows at their ceremony, of course, but these vows were different. These were from one heart to another and a sacred promise just between them. We were so honored to witness a time and a moment that was so precious! Their ceremony was filled with love, laughter and tears. Afterwards, we all quickly ventured down to the coast and then were met by a wonderfully designed reception at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. With Marie’s vision and the amazing talent of her coordinator Katherine of Events by Katherine the evening went perfectly! We loved being a part of this wedding day! It wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing team of vendors and we are so excited to share some of our favorite moments with you!
