A Fun Engagement Session at Angel Stadium in Anaheim with Jen and Jason

With every wedding and every couple there is a story.

Jen and Jason have a story that tugs so tenderly at your heart, you can’t help but love them even more. Jen and Jason planned on getting married this coming November, and then news came that would change everything. Jen’s stepfather was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. They began aggressively treating him immediately, but the doctors aren’t sure if come November that he would be able to walk Jen down the aisle. Jen and Jason’s story is one of sacrifice, unconditional love, and a faith that can move mountains. They have since moved their date up so that Jen can be walked down the aisle by her stepfather. With Jason having recently lost his father, both he and Jen truly know the value of family and the importance of capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

It made perfect sense then that our time with them be spent at the place that holds the most memories, Angel Stadium. If they could, they would get married right there on the field (and believe me, they tried!) as it has always been their favorite place on earth. With them, they each brought a piece of their family history. Jason brought a glove his Dad had since he was a small boy, and Jen brought a bat and Angels cap with her of her stepfather’s; placing them on the field where they had grown up watching games all of their lives. During our time with them there was laughter, joy, goofing around, and moments of quiet reflection. Their excitement was overflowing during our entire afternoon, and in thinking about the joy these two have for life and the love they have for one another, it was truly a humbling and inspiring thing to witness. To know Jen and Jason is to love them and as we are there in spirit with them on their big day, we are so excited and honored to share with you a few moments we were able to spend with them in their home away from home.
