You remember Allison and Scott don’t you? They are that stylish couple who did their engagement session at an abandoned drive-in movie theater — it was so much fun and they were wicked awesome. If you haven’t seen it, click HERE and get a taste for what you’re about to see. These two are good.
And now, finally, their wedding day was here! It took place at one of our favorite locations, Soka University in Aliso Viejo, and before Erin and I even walked through the door we knew that it was going to be an amazing day. After getting ready at the Renaissance Club Sport (a place I used to work at a trainer back in the day!), we headed on over to Soka and had our run of the place. It’s a photographers playground if you’ve never been there, so when you add in a fantastic couple like Allison and Scott, be ready to hold on to your hats!
Before their ceremony, they wanted to see one another. Well, okay, they didn’t really want to SEE one another, they wanted to be NEAR one another and be able to talk; saving that “WOW” moment for when Allison walked down the aisle. It was something we had never captured before and as Erin and I guided them towards one another we quickly stepped back and let them have a moment. It was so sweet and beneath their bandanas we could see each of their smiles spreading ear to ear. They were ready.
Thanks to Diana of Country Garden Caterers and Platinum Events, as well as Allison and Scotts awesome family and bridal party, the whole day was just perfect. Allison and Scott you both have such a special place in our hearts. Thank you for entrusting us with your incredible day. We’ve been so anxious to share some of our favorite moments with you! We hope you enjoy!
JUST STUNNING! Love all the backlit portraits.
This wedding is pretty epic! Great job on photography. I LOVE her dress. Fave shot of the bride is her in her robe getting ready with her makeup done and of the groom, him and the guys by that water feature.
Thank you Sherri! :)
