Serra Plaza Wedding | Chelsea and Jordan are Married!

To say that we’ve been looking forward to Chelsea and Jordan’s Serra Plaza wedding would probably be the biggest understatement ever. In leading up to their day and even their engagement session, we had been asked countless times why we would ever want to photograph our sister’s wedding. “You photograph weddings all the time, don’t you just want to enjoy the day for once and not have to WORK?” The first time I was asked that I probably looked pretty funny as you could undoubtedly see the hamster wheel in my head spinning around. To be honest, up until that moment I had never even thought of not photographing my sister’s wedding. Never for a millisecond did either Erin or I see such an honor as work. Yes, we were sweating buckets and running around all day as her photographers, but it was unquestionably a labor of love as we wanted to give our absolute very best to these people and these families who mean the world to us.

My sister’s wedding was a day we’ll never forget, and in being her photographers, we were able to be present for even more amazing moments then if we had just merely been a guest. We had to stop and pinch ourselves more than twice…this was our sister! I’ll spare any embarrassing stories from our childhood, but suffice it to say, it was a truly proud day to see my little sister all grown up and becoming someones wife. With almost 4 years of marriage behind us, we can truly attest to amazing blessing God has given us in one another. In witnessing such a thing happening for our sister our hearts couldn’t help but be glued to every moment with Chelsea and Jordan. Their smiles were our smiles, and their tears quickly became our tears. Erin and I, along with our whole entire family are so happy to welcome Jordan to the craziness that is the Wade clan, and it is our amazing privilege to share with you her beautiful wedding day.
