Salt Creek Beach Wedding Photography: Henry and Betty's Anniversary

Posted in: Weddings

Over a year ago Erin and I attended (yes, attended!) the wedding of our great friends Henry and Betty. I’ve known Henry since I was a skinny little high school freshman at University High School in Irvine. I was a freshman and he was a junior…unheard of for us to be friends, I know. We all hung out in the same group, played basketball together, and pretty much just lived the good ol’ highschool life….don’t you miss those day’s sometimes? :)

It was such an honor to be a guest at my buddy’s wedding, and it took all of about 5 seconds for both of us to realize that Betty was beyond awesome and WAYYY out of his league! HAHA, totally kidding Henry, you’re a stud man! They got married up in San Jose almost a year ago but we wanted to get some photos of them after they got back and settled in Orange County.

Since we didn’t have a chance to get to shoot a few portraits of them at their wedding, we knew we HAD to get some photos of these two at some point! Not only are Henry and Betty a TON of fun to be around and goof around with, they can bring some hotness (not like I need to convince you of that, just check out what’s below)! They wanted a shoot here in Orange County that maybe had a different feel than their wedding photography; so needless to say we had some fun and let loose!

Betty did her own hair and makeup, doesn’t it look pro?! It’s a hobby of hers and something she loves to do; we may just convince her to pick up a weekend job! haha. So all you brides out there we’ve got the make up and hair person for you!

We wanted a location that would give us a few options, no matter what time of day it was. And since our shoot was at 1pm, on Super Bowl Sunday for that matter, we stayed close to home and drove down to Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point right next to the Ritz Carlton and the St. Regis hotels (where Erin and I got engaged), and let these two crazy love birds be themselves; we had SO MUCH FUN! Thank you Henry and Betty so much for just being you, and for being our dear friends.

So now without further adieu….here are the Chuangs :)
