LDS San Diego Temple Wedding: Jessica and Christian

Posted in: Weddings

It’s raining outside here in Orange County, so I wanted to do something different than just sit at my desk. So I hopped up, and moved on over to the couch! And believe you me…this guy is getting stuff done! We just recently got a 1TB hard drive for our office that hooks right into our home network. So whether I’m working in the office or on the couch, Erin and I can pass large files back and forth crazy fast!

Okay, enough of the geeky stuff.

In going through all the weddings we shot last year, there was a time where it was just one right after the other; some was me helping some friends and second shooting for them, and others were our weddings! Sadly, I wasn’t able to share some of the awesome weddings I was invited to second shoot! Well this week I’m going to catch up!

So in the spirit of getting things done, and logging some much needed couch time, I wanted to share with you an amazing wedding from last August! Jessica and Christian were married at the LDS San Diego Temple, which is perhaps the most gorgeous building I have EVER seen! After braving the heat, we all headed out to Jessica’s parent’s place in Corona for the largest reception I’ve seen to date!

**sidenote** Jessica’s Mom is an awesome high-end wedding photographer named Judy Hailey, so the pressure was on for this one! Haha, okay so her whole family is the nicest people you’ll ever meet, but still…you always want to deliver!

I felt so blessed to be a part of such an incredible day, so I wanted to say a huge “thank you” to Maria Longhifor inviting me to join her for Jessica and Christian’s big day!

Here are a handful of photos from the LDS San Diego Temple as well as the rocking 500 person reception! Enjoy!

To one out of 5 of the most remarkable photographers, thank you so much for making our daughters magical wedding day so perfect. We do realize that 105 degrees is a little much to bear but are hoping you enjoyed yourself anyway. It was a pleasure spending the day with all of you and I will forever be indebted. Your work is, as always, beautiful. May you be blessed with amazing clients who continue to be amazed at the talents God has given you and I hope you will always remember me should you need anything. Please tell your friends I said hello as well! xoxo Judy Hailey, Hailey Studios
