Having just returned from the GORGEOUS town of Fairhope, Alabama for Heather and Tyler’s wedding, we are so excited to share with you our first wedding of 2011! And all we have to say is….wow. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family, welcomed at ever turn. Add on top of that some world class Southern hospitality and we’ve now returned with full hearts…and bellies!
You’ll remember Heather and Tyler from their engagement session here in Southern California, but their beautiful day took place in Heather’s home town of Fairhope, Alabama; a town we won’t soon forget and hope to visit again soon! With stunning coastal views, beautiful houses, and a smile from everyone you meet; who wouldn’t want to have their wedding there?!
But we were scared. You see, the night before the wedding it rained. And when I say rained I mean RAINED. The winds howled, the thunder shook our walls, and we even heard the “T” word thrown around in town (tornado). Needless to say we held our breaths for a break in the weather. And come 2pm it was if the skies parted and the rain had never happened; it was beautiful! A little wet out, but perfect photography weather; we were truly blessed!
It set the scene for an emotional and intimate first look between Heather and Tyler, followed by a wonder ceremony and a rockin’ reception at the Fairhope Inn just down the road. It truly was an event to remember. And as Heather and Tyler were whisked away into the chilly night riding on the back of her Dad’s old red Datsun convertible, we’ll forever remember and be grateful to the amazing families and town that brought these two together and sent them off to spend the rest of their lives together.
Heather and Tyler, we could not be happier for you both! Thank you so much for trusting us with a day that was nothing short of amazing! We hope you had an amazing honeymoon in Mexico! Here are just a few of our favorite moments from your day. Y’all are the best!
Way to rock this wedding… :)
