Amanda and Eric’s Engagement

A photo shoot for Erin and I is very much something we need to prepare for..even before our engagement sessions we do a little pre-game pep talk and tell one another what we’ll each be really challenging ourselves on that day. But even that in and of itself isn’t enough to just whip out our cameras and start getting exactly what we imagined. We always joke with our couples that all of us need to get warmed up and the first couple of minutes shooting are for all of us to just get the nervous butterflies out.

So here we are, Erin and I all excited to be shooting at the San Juan Capistrano Mission (one of our favorite places) and in walks Amanda and Eric. These all stars didn’t need a millisecond of any form of warming up…they were amazing right from the start! I’m not sure if they were stretching and doing jumping jacks in the parking lot or something, but man oh man did we enjoy every minute of our time with them! They are both beyond fun and we had the best time seeing Eric bring the biggest smiles to Amanda’s face. She lights up when his arms are around her and we honestly just couldn’t get enough!

However, our last place shooting together was by far my favorite. We came to find out that that during the early days of their relationship, Amanda and Eric spent many a times sitting on the swings together talking and getting to know one another. They would just talk and talk…falling more and more for eachother out on the playground. I think Amanda’s face says it all in our last image…and I think it’s safe to assume she could spend all day next to Eric… no matter where they are….and he’ll always make her smile.

Here are some of our favorite moments with these two in downtown San Juan Capistrano. We can’t wait for their wedding on 9.10.11 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles!
